Best Small Business of the Year Award

The Middle East organisation recognised with this Award will demonstrate sustainable growth and commercial success to levels that are outstanding for the size of the applicant's operations.  It will honour the most entrepreneurial small business in the Middle East operating in any industry sector.

Nominees must meet the following criteria:

• A for-profit enterprise
• Employ 10 or fewer full-time equivalent employees
• Have a turnover of less than US$ 4 million
• Innovative and customer-driven
• Have a business plan and/or strategy for growth
• Provide an atmosphere which gives their employees maximum opportunities for growth

Judges will be awarding marks for cases of:

1) Innovative practices and strategy
2) Being very customer driven
3) Great leadership & vision within management
4) Impressive growth figures and forecasts
