Entrepreneur of the Year Award

These business individuals have demonstrated exceptional vision and leadership in the establishment and development of an organisation or a major business unit.

This award will recognise the region’s best and brightest entrepreneur, based on their unwavering spirit and business acumen, their ability to be a creator of innovation, jobs and the wealth of tomorrow.

The nominee must be an owner/manager of a public or private company who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of the business. He or she must be an active member of senior management and be under 35 years of age.

The Judges decision will be based on:

1. Impressive leadership and visionary skills
2. A unique and innovative strategy is used
3. Effective use of initial resources
4. Market share performance and future growth prospects
