Corporate Social Responsibility Leader of the Year Award

Faced with wage cuts and employee layoffs, it is the far-sighted organisations that have risen to the challenge of committing to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), within reduced budgets and over and above legal obligations.

The Middle East organisation that has demonstrated this type of focus will integrate social concerns into their everyday business operations; including policies, actions or projects that positively impact the community in terms of the environment, employment, education or charitable work.

To qualify for this award, special focus will be given to initiatives beginning April 2008.

The Judges decision will be based on:

4. Cause related marketing
5. Environmental involvement
6. Community involvement
7. Ethical consumerism
